Our sponsorship definition
“While sponsoring a child, you are giving the opportunity to help him and also to follow him, like an angel in all the great steps of his life. A will-be child sponsor must be aware that there is much more than financial support which is at stake. Indeed, the sponsor will take an active part in the child upbringing and become a part of the child’s family. His photo and his letters will be proudly pinned up in the wall of the child’s house, because more than an angel, the sponsor is also an open window to the modern world, a wonder land for a child who has hardly seen a photo in his whole life, but let’s children describe you, their sponsor, to their relatives about their sponsors. What’s better than children’s words describing a child’s world? “
Our sponsorship process
The sponsorship program plays a center role in the child upbringing. Friends with a good heart send the money for the poor families to help children to complete their education which provides confidence and develops their standards till pre-university. The main focus of this assistance is to promote the education and avoid dropouts especially among girl children and poor children. These students are helped to meet their educational expenses such as school fees, notebooks, nutritional food and medical expenses.
CSC creates the environment of making the parents and the children responsible towards their own future with the help they receive from the project. Project staff regularly visit the sponsored children’s family and also to their schools to monitor the child’s growth and effective use of the assistance they remind the parents about the importance of education for a child’s overall growth. Children with sponsors write a letter to them and inform about their development. The first letter will be a “welcome letter” to welcome the sponsors to their family. The second letter will be “bonding letter” to make the sponsor & child relationship strong. The children write “initiated letter” every six months irrespective of sponsors’ letters, i.e. if sponsor write letters they will write response letters. If sponsors send money for their needs they will write thank you letters. There is a children’s bank account in local banks and money will be transferred to the respective banks and according to their needs the child’s parents take the permission of the project staff and utilize the money to the needs of the child.
The Basic Education we provide
Education is to improve the conditions of children living in difficult circumstances through advocacy, research, training andprojects, especially in the area of education. We believe that every child has a right to enjoy childhood as well as to read and write. Education is a very important tool which leads to eradication of poverty and unemployment. That is, if children are able to complete their education and get the knowledge of outer world, they will be able to find a job, which would help them to lead a better livelihood. In our targeted villages various programme like educational awareness through lectures,mass gathering in rallies for quality education, essay and drawing competition for students etc., are implemented to deliver this message. Under Basic Education many programs were carried out to improve the education level of the enrolled students
along with other children of the community.
Children too old to integrate into school from the first standards will be instantaneously incorporated in our maindevelopment projects. They will follow formation trainings and be able to start reading and counting.
